Sephora Shopping

Here are a few of the items I picked up from Sephora a few months ago.

(REN Global Protection Day Cream,Caudalie Vinoperfect Day Perfecting Cream, VinoPerfect Cell Renewal Night Cream)

I tried the REN Global Protection Day Cream in the store and fell in love with the texture.  It is slightly thicker for a day cream, however does not feel heavy or greasy on the skin.  So far, I have really enjoyed this face cream.  However, I do find it a bit pricey for the amount of product in the bottle.  The Caudalie products I had tried in one of Sephora VIB's 500 point gift.  So I decided to purchase the full-size.  These products are definitely on the pricier side, however you do not need very much product.  The Day Perfecting Cream is very silky and creamy with a slight nude color that blends beautifully on the skin. This cream works really well as a tinted moisturizer with a light mineral powder on top for everyday use.  The texture and scent of the night cream is very similar to the day cream.  I love the luxurious feel of the night cream.  And I do love the anti-aging properties of this cream as well.

(Origins GinZing eye cream, Tarte Maracuja Oil, Tarte Maracuja C-Brighter eye treatment)
I have used Origins products for awhile now.  One of my favorites is the GinZing eye cream.  The texture is perfect for using under concealer.  The pinky color works really well with my Benefit Erase Paste under eye concealer.  I can definitely notice the brightening effect, which is helpful on those super early mornings to really brighten and lift the eye area.  The Tarte Maracuja Oil and eye treatment are part of a set (one of those mini-sets at the check-out area).  I really do love purchasing the smaller sized sets, because I get to try out the product without having to purchase a full size.  This is my first face oil.  I do like the texture, it is a drier oil (not greasy at all).  The scent is beautiful.  I do not use it on a daily basis, I use it about twice a week, that works well for my skin.  The eye treatment has the same scent and a nice thick texture.  I look forward to testing both of these products out.

(Boscia Bright White Mask, Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins, Origins Checks and Balances face wash)
This is my first Boscia mask and I love it!  The product has become a critical part of my skincare routine.  I use the mask about 2-3 times a week and I love the effects.  My skin feels refreshed and looks brighter immediately after use.  I love using this mask before a big event, as a way to pamper my face.  The Origins High-Potency night cream has been a favorite for awhile.  I love thick night creams and this one is perfect.  The Origins Checks and Balances face wash is another favorite.  This cream based face wash leaves my skin clean and refreshed (and removes all make-up).

(Alterna Kendi Dry Oil Micromist, Anastasia's Dipbrow Pomade)
This is my second bottle of the Bamboo Kendi Dry Oil Micromist.  My hair type is fine and thin.  The micromist works really well with my hair type.  It is not heavy on my hair, yet conditions and controls frizz.  Dry oil is a great alternative to some of the heavier oil products.  I am very excited for my first Anastasia product!  I really do love this product.  For me the Dipbrow Pomade is easy to use and I really like the control in using a brush to fill in my eyebrows versus using an eyebrow pencil.  The Dipbrow Pomade is also a better value, I had to re-purchase the eyebrow pencils very frequently.  Where as the Dipbrow Pomade will last me a long time.

(MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural)
This is my everyday foundation in the color light plus.  I have been using this skin powder for years.  I love the finish and light coverage.  I do not need a heavy foundation for everyday use.  This is my first purchase in the new compact with a mirror.

That is it for my recent purchases.  I hope you have enjoyed this post.  Thank you for reading!
